As of November 2007, we are beginning our work for second quarter.   Each English student is working individually, so you may ask your child what they might be working on, be it poetry, grammar, novels, mythology, writing, whatever.  You are also free to email me to ask what work they are doing.

In U.S. History, we are studying the period of the Civil War up to the Roaring Twenties.  Some students who have covered this material already may be doing assignments appertaining to other periods of American history.  It will depend on how many credits they personally need to complete to meet their history requirements.  Some ambitious students are doing book work as well as the classroom work so they can complete their US History faster.  This is not required, it's a personal choice.  Feel free to contact me if you want to know exactly what period in history your child is studying.
